Cheryl Miller Thurston is a Colorado writer, teacher, editor, and musician. She has published many articles, books, poetry, plays, musicals, and music on a variety of subjects, but she is best known for her books that help teachers teach English and language arts.
Her latest book, with Dawn DiPrince, is a new and expanded edition of their popular book, Unjournaling, released in 2023.
In 2019 and 2021, she published her first novels, Death By Accordion and Step, Shuffle, Die. A few additional titles are How to Survive Last Period on Fridays and Other Desperate Situations, Ideas that Really Work!, Language Is Served, Yoga for the Brain, and Hide Your Ex-Lax Under the Wheaties (finalist for the Colorado Book Award.)
